(2020) As part of the online residency Objet Trouvé +, I make 2D explorations and improvisations, scratch-printing with charcoals and pastels on a metallic cheese grater. The paper becomes the skin that is rubbed, scraped, scratched. The eyes are watching.

(2023) As part of the project ’30 works in 30 days’, I use the grater with clay to talk about skin, grating clay ‘backwards’ from inside the grater, a reverse process from the normal act of grating that I associate with shedding my own dry skin.

(2024) Grating, a triptych. This is the outcome of three videos where I scratch my skin with a cheese grater, I scratch a piece of paper with a pencil on the same cheese grater, and I scratch my skin using a red pen.
